What is Ergonomic Matting?

Ergonomic Matting is a Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) product designed to be used in many versatile applications. Tiles are approximately 12" x 12" square. Tiles join with a tongue (male) and groove (female) design that provides two adjacent sides with tongues and two with grooves. Tiles are offered in two designs of grid and one solid. All designs join in exactly the same way. Ramps (edge pieces) join in the same tongue and groove design. Ramps are offered in both tongue and groove straight edges (12" long approx.) and tongue and groove corners (14" long approx.)

Assembly - wooded or hard rubber mallet
1. Mats will not come apart easily.
2. Able to pick up and move entire section if necessary.
3. Recessed mounting holes all four corners if needed to permanently secure.

Beveled Side Ramps - Available in Black, Yellow, or Safety Yellow. No edge to trop over, as opposed to rubber matting.

Self Extinguishing - will not combust, would burn itself out.

Chemical and UV Resistant
1. Will resist battery acid (rubber will not).
2. Contains bacterial agents making it anti-fungicidal (will not mold where rubber will).

Most matting considered anti-fatigue is rubber, which is sometimes tough to move around. These tiles are much lighter than rubber, making them easily rotatable or replaceable. (If you have a high traffic area, you can replace tiles that are worn out).

Non-Absorbent - making for excellent drainage and clean-up, which can be done by picking up tiles or using a shop vaccuum.
